Hi, I’m Adam Crofts, a session drummer, teacher, and multi-instrumentalist based in Sheffield. I have my own studio here in Sheffield, where I work on a variety of projects, from live performances to recording sessions.

Music has been a fundamental part of my life since childhood. I started piano lessons at age five, moved on to guitar as a teenager, and began playing drums a few years later. My journey in music led to performing my first gig with a band just weeks after my 15th birthday, and I’ve been immersed in the industry ever since.

Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to play on countless recordings, perform on TV and radio, and tour internationally both as a band member and session musician. I’ve worked with a diverse range of artists and bands, including Reverend and The Makers, The Crookes, Charles Watson (Slow Club), Good Cop Bad Cop (Arctic Monkeys/Milburn), and many more.

In addition to live performances, I continue to work as a session drummer, recording and sharing the stage with with talented artists such as Ed Cosens, Richard Hawley, Tom Grennan, Self Esteem, Michael Malarkey (Vampire Diaries), and Joe Carnall (Milburn), to name a few. My experience spans various genres, from indie rock to pop and everything in between, which has allowed me to develop a versatile approach to music.

I’m passionate about teaching and sharing my knowledge with the next generation of musicians. Whether it’s through drum lessons, creative collaboration, or studio work, I’m always driven by my love for music and the opportunity to create something unique.
